I really enjoyed this. I like how it had a deeper meaning. I do wish the words on the walls could've been changed my language. Great work, thanks for sharing!

Here's my playthrough if anyone is interested:

Ich habe diesen Indiehorror wirklich genossen! Ich hoffe, da kommt noch mehr :)

Viele Grüße aus Deutschland:)

Played this as part of a scary games with my girlfriend video, absolutely loved it, got us good!

Okay, it has some silliness to it with the tasks on the homework list but I really liked it.
It looked good, so much random stuff around the rooms, nothing was barren and felt like a dirty home. The look reminded me of like, "From The Darkness" at some points,
It did get creepy, was waiting to see what would happen because the homework list was silly but then it started to get to me a little but with the chills.
Did have a sad story going on.
Why was there papertowels or toliet paper in the fridge?
What was the job the character did?
What TF did that cat doll see???
How do they rate their bathroom habits?
Why do they only like to watch the intro to "Barbie Girl" By Aqua music video?
We may never know...
Pretty good little horror game, good job SenoPilesos
Look forward to what you make next

Here is a short I made for your viewing pleasure!

Not sure you would call this a psychological horror that deals with the intricate nature of addiction and substance abuse of alcoholism, but you got me with that jump scare - mainly because I didn't think this was going to be an indie horror with it involved! If the character had some backstory, or some kind of narrative arc that explained the drinking problem or mental instability, I would have understood the concept a little more.

Pros:

  • Nice atmosphere, good mechanics with the chores and world shifting perspective later on.
  • Humorous - more so than I was initially expecting based on the synopsis of the story. Cheeky magazines, poop humour and windows '95.
  • Very polished interior - not sure if this was an asset pack, but when the doors were locking themselves and lights going off, felt like I was in a different game.

Cons:

  • Not an option for translation in menu - when starting up the game thought this was going to be in a different language - text on walls and on notes were difficult to decipher for an English speaking person.
  • Chore list should have strikethroughs when the job/chore is completed - I was wandering around aimlessly for a while because I wasn't sure if the tasks had been completed. For instance, I didn't know that taking one of the pots out of the fridge constituted as having eaten!
  • Would have liked some backstory to the main character - if the intent was a mischievous, humorous take on alcohol addiction think there should have been a little more depth to the subject.
  • Seemed that events started happening just by walking into rooms - perhaps a mechanic could be introduced with the main character completing objectives and then things start to go bump in the night.

Thank u veyr much for your feedback. That was my second game i ever did.  I made a game for a school project in Finnish and only now I realized that I forgot to translate the text on the wall and the paper into English.
